Project 1: This will install rip-rap aprons, a stilling basin, at-grade crossing, stone toe to support the stream bank.
Project 2: This will include a cross vane, a one-sided two-stage ditch, and a stone toe to support the stream bank.
Project 3: This will include repairs to the pond outlet structure, downstream channel restoration & incoming gul
Holding Pond Maintenance:
Repair and dredging of the existing holding pond on the Crow property which has filled with sediment over the past 30 years.

I have a contractor that will be doing boathouse demolition. That will be happening this winter once the ground conditions are better for their equipment. I will likely be closing the trail access near there for safety reasons associated with their equipment use. also, I have planned shoreline restoration. This will remove

Regarding the beavers, I am working on getting the beaver outflow contract setup for bid. There aren't any traps out currently. The cage that can be seen is the guard. Trapping is likely if they move back into that pond when the water level comes up again.

WASCOB & 2 check dams
The WASCOB and Check Dams planned for E. Morsches Rd. will slow water velocity going through the tributary on Valley Drive. Last year this tributary carried a lot of sediment into the lake and by slowing down the flow of water we hope to see a significant improvement.

These two projects (this one and the one above) were moved up to high priority because they are important water quality improvement projects and because funding was going to be available only if the projects could be completed by 12/31/24. Otherwise, the funding would revert back to the DNR and would be more difficult to qualify for in

Ditch that drains runoff from the24 Acre Nature preserve North of Pressler Rd. between 1326 & 1344 E. Pressler Rd.
Farm Ditch Project:
Old Road bed erosion restoration. This project is located in the North East corner of the Farm Ditch Project Map
